HEAT RECOVERY VENTILATOR

HRV (Heat Recovery Ventilator) are systems/units that are used when you want to introduce a large amount of outside air into an occupied environment to increase the actual level of indoor air quality. The air in many homes is two to five times more polluted then the worst outdoor air. HRV units function by mixing air from inside the home with air from outside the home. HRV units work by preheating cold outdoor air with warm indoor air before circulating it indoors. Some HRV units have the technology to remove damp, polluted air sitting in your basement by replacing it with fresh, filtered air from the outside, all while keeping the temperature and humidity levels stabilized and in proper balance.
